Vaanam is the forthcoming movie of Silambarasan which is the remake of telugu movie Vedam.Recently the filmmakers announced the audio launch to be on March 6th, 2011.Now here is the news that the movie is scheduled to release this Summer on April 9th, 2011.

Vijay's Velayudham Canning Scenes at Karamadai Village

Vijay's upcoming movie under the direction of Jayam Raja Velayudham shooting in brisk pace.Velayudham is the remake of telugu hit movie Azad.

Velayudham shooting presrntly at Karamadai a panchayat town in Coimbatore.The main scenes between Vijay, Hansika Motwani and Saranya Mohan are being shot at Coimbatore.Genelia will join the crew soon.
Genelia is playing the role of soundarya in the original version like investigative journalist. Two songs will be canned abroad soon. Saranya Mohan will be seen as Vijay's sister in this movie.
