Velayudham shooting presrntly at Karamadai a panchayat town in Coimbatore.The main scenes between Vijay, Hansika Motwani and Saranya Mohan are being shot at Coimbatore.Genelia will join the crew soon.
Genelia is playing the role of soundarya in the original version like investigative journalist. Two songs will be canned abroad soon. Saranya Mohan will be seen as Vijay's sister in this movie.
