The TechArt designers developed bodywork components in the wind tunnel which don’t only give the 911 Turbo its distinctive look but especially optimal aerodynamic downforce and a drag coefficient reduced by 4 percent. The TechArt front spoiler reduces aerodynamic lift by 15 percent. They also moulded a new wing profile for the retractable production rear spoiler which produces 20 percent extra downforce in conjunction with the TechArt rear diffuser. Concept car Porsche 911 Turbo TechArt GTstreet Model 997
The cockpit of the TechArt GTstreet also differs distinctly from the stock 911 Turbo. Among the differences is an exclusive leather interior with color-contrasted stitching and sporty CarboBlack highlights. The coupe is further equipped with an ergonomically shaped TechArt sport steering wheel, aluminum foot pedals, foot rest and shifter, as well as with illuminated door sills sporting the TechArt logo.
German TechArt studio will present in Geneva its latest tire-burner based on the current Porsche 911 Turbo 997 series super-coupe. While most tuners focus their efforts on eye-popping exterior enhancements, TechArt’s engineers have centered their attention
Porsche 911 Turbo TechArt on Back BodyThe TechArt GTstreet rear fascia with integrated carbon-fiber diffuser contributes to the strong downforce generated on the rear axle. It also provides the perfect backdrop for the quad exhaust of the TechArt high-performance exhaust system. TechArt Automobildesign offers a number of versions of its popular Formula wheel in sizes 8.5Jx20 in front and 12Jx20 on the rear axle. GTstreet buyers can choose from several color combinations and between the one-piece Formula and the multi-piece Formula II designs. The Formula II wheel features an exchangeable wheel lip. For optimal tires TechArt chose ContiSportContact 3 high-performance tires in sizes 245/30 ZR20 and 325/25 ZR20. The large 20-inch wheels also provide the necessary space for the especially powerful and durable TechArt high-performance brake system. It features six-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 390-millimeter discs on the front axle. The rear axle is fitted with 365-millimeter discs and four-piston fixed calipers. The TechArt GTstreet comes with a TechArt VarioPlus coil-over suspension that is based on the electronically adjustable PASM damping system of the 911 Turbo. This chassis allows individual ride-height lowering by up to 25 millimeters and push-button selection of two different damper settings, “Normal” or “Sport.” However, the dampers are not limited to these presets. Sporty driving automatically results in firmer damper settings in both modes, thus combining excellent ride comfort during normal driving with agile and responsive handling during fast cornering.
The body kit for the TechArt GTstreet was created in the wind tunnel, and offers an optimal symbiosis of aerodynamic down force, minimized drag and striking design. The front fascia of the GTstreet with retractable carbon-fiber splitter produces down force on the front axle and provides radiator, oil coolers and brakes with more cooling air, thanks to its large, striking air inlets. The auxiliary headlamp units with daytime running lights and fog lamps improve active safety. They also give the car even more passing clout. The TechArt GTstreet fender flares on the front axle add 10 mm to the two-door’s width and give it an even more dynamic appearance. But that’s not all: The air outlets behind the front wheel houses optimize brake venting. The larger air ducts in the rear sidewalls provide engine and inter coolers with a larger supply of cooling air. For an optimal transition between front and rear fenders the TechArt designers have developed rocker panels that complement the new contours. TechArt mirror and headlamp moldings provide the finishing touches. The TechArt roof spoiler extends the roof line and optimizes airflow to the adjustable rear airfoil of the GTstreet.

2008 Porsche 911 GT2

The 911 GT2 has a 50 hp upgrade over the standard 997 Turbo for a total of 530hp. This power increase is courtesy of two turbochargers with a larger compressor wheel and a flow-optimized turbine housing. The GT2 is only available with a 6 speed manual gearbox and RWD to cater to the real car enthusiasts and provide the best performance possible. The new Porsche GT2 does 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds and top speed of 204mph.

The Panamera hits dealerships in fall 2009. Competitors include the Maserati Quattroporte, Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class and Audi S8.

Exterior
The Panamera is an unusually styled four-door, to say the least. While it features a traditional hood with Porsche-style headlamps, when you move around to the side of the car its appearance changes significantly due to its hatchback rear styling.
Even though the Panamera is a front-engine car, it definitely takes cues from the automaker's 911 in its back end. It's the kind of design that some people will love and others will loathe.
The Panamera comes to market with three trim levels: S, 4S and Turbo. S and 4S trims have 18-inch wheels, while Turbos have 19-inch rims.
Interior
In the 911 you wonder why Porsche even bothered equipping it with its tiny rear seats, but the Panamera's backseat accommodations are much more inviting. There are two rear bucket seats just like in the first row, for a total of four seats, and a flow-through center console runs from the dashboard all the way back to the rear seats. A dual-screen entertainment system is available for backseat-passenger enjoyment.
The Panamera's instrument cluster is reminiscent of other Porsche cars, but the center console is fitted with numerous buttons around the gear selector. A dash-top stopwatch is available.
The Panamera's cargo area measures 15.7 cubic feet, but when you fold the backseat there's 44.6 cubic feet.
Under the Hood
The rear-wheel-drive Panamera S is powered by a 4.8-liter V-8 that makes 400 horsepower and 369 pounds-feet of torque. The engine teams with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and Porsche says S models can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds on the way to a top speed of 175 mph. All-wheel-drive 4S models feature the same engine and transmission, but are quicker to 60 mph (4.8 seconds, according to Porsche).
The all-wheel-drive Turbo model features a twin-turbo 4.8-liter V-8 that pumps out 500 hp and 516 pounds-feet of torque. It also uses Porsche's seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and cuts the zero-to-60-mph time to 4 seconds. Its top speed increases to 188 mph.
Safety
Standard safety features include antilock brakes, side-impact airbags for the front seats, front knee airbags, side curtain airbags, rear-seat side-impact airbags and an electronic stability system.
